Kate Coldrick, creator of OnTheSkyline and katecoldrick.com

Kate’s work combines classroom practice with research in inclusive education and student engagement. She has co-authored peer-reviewed research on co-production and postgraduate inclusion, contributes to practitioner platforms such as Edutopia, and regularly shares practical literacy materials through her TES Shop and Neurodiversity Learning Support Consultancy.
She also creates audio and video content on SoundCloud and YouTube, extending her teaching and writing across media to make learning more accessible and engaging.

Based in Woodbury, near Exeter in Devon, Kate writes creatively on On the Skyline, a long-running project exploring portrayals of women, voice, and silence in literature, history, and everyday life. This work considers how women’s stories are told, forgotten, or reclaimed, and how cultural narratives frame women who resist, dissent, or fall outside accepted norms.

On the Skyline is also published as a book, On the Skyline: Women Rewritten, bringing together this strand of Kate’s reflective and critical writing as part of her wider creative practice. The themes explored here — belonging, expression, marginalisation, and voice — connect closely with her work in education and inclusion.
